Hi, I’m Sam. I took up padel in summer 2025. I’ve played over 50 sessions in the UK, a couple in Norwich and the rest at a club in Waltham Abbey, plus most days of a five-day trip to Spain. I’m still a beginner moving to intermediate, and that’s who this site is for.
I started Padel Playhouse to write the plain-English guides I wanted when I was starting out: what kit is worth buying, how the rules actually work, and where to book a court in the UK. A lot of it seems over-complicated and therefore with this website I hope you find what you’re looking for, within the world of Padel.
How I put the guides together
- I compare manufacturers’ specs and check what UK buyers can actually get.
- I check rules against published rules before writing about them.
- I haven’t used every product I list. Where a pick is based on specs and other players’ reviews rather than my own use, the guide says so.
- Each guide shows when it was last checked, and I update it when products go out of stock.
